The Michael Patterson Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving Central Maryland, whose mission is to serve the working poor and educate the public on issues related to mental health and its effects on the individual and family members.

Michael Patrick Patterson (1965-2006) embodied many things in his short life, helped countless people and inspired many others to make this world a better place. The Michael Patterson Foundation continues the vision, action and memory of a remarkable human being whose life was cut short by mental illness. Begun in 2007, the Foundation seeks to be a change agent in the lives of the clients we empower, the public we educate and the community we serve.
